Los Angeles band Lo Moon is back in Minneapolis! The band will headline the 7th Street Entry on December 1, 2024.

We saw Lo Moon in Oct 2018 and wrote, “We’ve previously mentioned that their music is quite under the radar, but eventually they’ll build up a good fanbase (seeing as they’ve sold out several major cities when they were the headliner). With a spot on Chvrches’ tour (probably thanks to their guitarist’s connection to Dave Stewart helping with Chvrches’ latest album), you can bet that when the band returns to MN (and let’s hope for another venue other than the Turf Club), that people will be up front and singing along to songs like “Loveless”, which ended their brief set.”

Allman Betts Family Revival

It’s an all-stars event at the upcoming Allman Betts Family Revival show, starring Devon Allman and Duane Betts, at the State Theatre, in Minneapolis, on December 1, 2024.

The musicians are bringing their friends: Luther Dickinson (North Mississippi Allstars), Cody Dickinson (North Mississippi Allstars), Jimmy Hall (Jeff Beck, Wet Willie), Anders Osborne, Larry McCray, Lindsay Lou, Jackie Greene, Lamar Williams, Jr., Alex Orbison (son of Roy Orbison), Greg Koch, Robert Randolph, and Sierra Green.

Devon Allman adds, “We are so excited to continue onto the eighth year of this wonderful celebration of our father’s music. It’s a high honor to play this music with our talented friends. With the number 8 also being the symbol for infinity, we want the fans to know we’re doing our part to help this music live forever in a live format. We hope to continue to take them back in time.”

Each show will feature two massive sets, the first set will feature music from the 1970’s Duane Allman era, while the second set will feature music from the 1990’s comeback era. Each date will feature rotating guests, so please check your local venue for additional details.
