Welsh musician Cate Le Bon is touring in support of Michelangelo Dying (Mexican Summer). She’ll be headlining the Fine Line on January 24, 2026.
We saw Cate Le Bon in May 2016 and said, “It was an incredibly healthy turn out for the Los Angeles, by the way of Wales, Cate Le Bon. Words must have spread since her last appearance in Minneapolis, in January 2014… despite the fact that Cate Le Bon physically could not say the words ‘Minneapolis’. Le Bon, in her thick Welsh accent said, “Wish ah could sae your city’s name. Ah just carn’t say it.” The first half of her set was almost exclusively songs from Crab Day, including the first three songs ‘Crab Day’, ‘Love Is Not Love’ and ‘Wonderful’ (which also appeared in the same order on the Drag City album). The second half of her set, starting with ‘Are You With Me Now?’ were mostly from her last album Mug Museum.”
