WM076 [download (43min, 40mb)]

The recording is pretty epic, so I’ll be re-cutting bits of it for the next upcoming podcasts.

In this show:

1. We discuss England’s backward Digital Economy Bill, which is basically if they catch you pirating music three times, you’re automatically kicked off the internet. [UPDATE: Law passed on April 7th, 2010. More information on wikipedia.org]

2. Blogger/Google destroying MP3 music blogs, including My Old Kentucky Blog (which incidentally will be re-located to myoldkentuckyblog.com

  1. Old 80s music, you know Menudo and The Jets.

    4. Girls Rock Camp in Providence, Rhode Island.

Stay tuned after Kotex Explosion’s “Jurassic Period” to hear us talking about movies (George Romero, Charles Band, Full Moon Pictures, etc).

Vu: re: Digital Economy Bill: I think it’d be a good idea to include a link to the BBC article, which can be found here. I caught wind of it on my newsfeed to OSNews and a commenter summed it up pretty well, so I referenced it to the WHM group here. Hope it is of some use to readers.
