Portland/Minneapolis’ The Lowest Pair will be releasing their album The Sacred Heart Sessions at the Cedar Cultural Center in Minneapolis on April 4th.
The duo (Kendl Winter and Palmer T. Lee) will also be joined by their producer and music opener, Dave Simonett of Trampled by Turtles fame.

Who could forget Katrina & The Waves’ “Walking on Sunshine”? Although the band broke up in 1999, their legacy lived on when we were all reminded of Hurricane Katrina (and the waves that came with it) in 2005, and most recently used as part of U.S. presidential candidate Michele Bachmann’s campaign (although they quickly got a cease and desist from singer/songwriter Katrina Leskanich because she disagreed with the Republicans).
With that said, Katrina Leskanich is currently on tour in the US, in support of her latest solo album Blisland.
The album is her first collection of new songs in 10 years, and this will be the first time Katrina is touring in North American as a solo artist in over 25 years!
Katrina end the tour at the Amsterdam Bar and Hall in St Paul, Minnesota, this April 4th.
