The Tedeschi Trucks Band (husband-and-wife musicians Derek Trucks & Susan Tedeschi) won the 2012 Grammy Award for Best Blues Album for their debut Revelator.



The band is currently touring with Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, a retro soul/funk band that we have long supported and love.



Also on the bill is Rich Robinson Band (of The Black Crowes).

The “Gay Bar” band Electric Six is back in Minneapolis next Friday, June 19th at First Avenue, touring in support of their latest album Mimicry and Memories.



Electric Six is Dick Valentine (vocals), Da Ve (guitar), Johnny Na$hinal (guitar), Smorgasbord (bass), Tait Nucleus? (synths) and Percussion World (drums).



White Reaper will open the show. The band is on tour in support of their forthcoming Polyvinyl album Does It Again, set for release this July 17, 2015.

Missouri’s Young Buffalo is a duo, in the middle of their tour in support of their self-titled EP. The band previously stopped at 7th Street in February with Blessed Feathers, but will be back with Hey Marseilles

San Diego’s Little Hurricane will be at the Turf Club in St Paul on June 19th.
We previously wrote that the duo (CC & Tone) met on Craigslist and since then have teamed up as Little Hurricane.



The duo’s latest single is “Heart Skips a Beat”, which came out May 2015.



Mississippi-based rock act Young Buffalo to open the show.
