Again, we are really excited to cover Rock the Garden this year again. This is the second year that RTG extends to Sunday.

ROYAL THUNDER
at The Nether Bar

Four-piece Royal Thunder will be in Minneapolis next Sunday, June 21st. Stereogum called the band “the contemporary hard rock equivalent of Fleetwood Mac’s Rumors” and NPR said is “a stunning hard rock record that examines what happens after a breakup.”

The Atlanta-based band is currently touring in support of their sophomore album Crooked Doors (Relapse Records).

Wild Throne opens on all headlining dates, with Royal Thunder then joining Halestorm for a week of dates in mid-June.

NOVALIMA

Peruvian band Novalima will be in town on Father’s day to promote their latest album Planetario set for release on June 16th via Wonderwheel Recording. The album’s name signals Novalima’s musical growth and international connections – much of the album was recorded on tour when they collaborated with top local and international musicians.

Chico Chavez Ensemble, lead by drummer/music director/visual artist Chico Chavez, to open the show.
