American singer/songwriter Caitlin Canty will be in town in Minneapolis’ Icehouse next Wednesday, June 24th, in support of her latest Reckless Skyline album, which came out earlier this year, January 20, 2015.

Joining her on tour will be a full backing back, consisting of Billy Conway (Morphine) on drums, Jeremy Moses Curtis (Booker T) on bass, Foucault on guitars and backing vocals, Eric Heywood (Ray LaMontagne’s Pariah Dogs, Tift Merritt, The Pretenders) on pedal steel and electric guitars, and Matt Lorenz (Rusty Belle, Chris Smither) on pump organ, banjo, piano and fiddle.

Romantica‘s singer Ben Kyle set to open the show.

CHASTITY BELT

One of Seattle’s most talked-about bands Chastity Belt will be in Minneapolis at the Cedar Cultural Center next Wednesday, June 24, in support of their sophomore album Time to Go Home, out now on Hardly Art.

The all-girls band was previously in town with Pony Time in Rocktober 2013.

Opening up next Wednesday will be two locals The Velveteens and Whatever Forever (former members of Red Pens and Prissy Clerks).
