I’ll never forget seeing KT Tunstall over at the now-defunct Epic in Minneapolis in November 2010. KT actually paused the show so she can ask the girl in front to stop talking on her cellphone.
The other cool thing about that show was that former Ash Charlotte Hatherley was KT’s guitarist! That was unexpected, and very cool.
Anyway, KT is back on tour in the US with her new album Kin (Caroline Records).
Opening the show will be Detroit’s Mayaeni. The soulfully electric singer, was handpicked and signed by Jay Z to Roc Nation.

U.K. band Bear’s Den has sold out their entire US tour, they’ll be stopping by the Triple Rock Social Club next Saturday. We previously caught the band in 2014 and noted that Minneapolis was one of Bear’s Den favorite cities to play.
Their latest album Red Earth & Pouring Rain is out now.
Liza Anne will open on all dates. Anne is from Georgia and she has released two albums: The Colder Months and Two.
