Actor Michael Shannon and musician Jason Narducy are celebrating R.E.M.’s celebrated 1983 debut album, Murmur.

All shows on the tour will feature Shannon (vocals) and Narducy (guitar) along with Jon Wurster (drums), Dag Juhlin (guitar), Nick Macri (bass), and Vijay Tellis-Nayak (piano).

If you love Murmur and R.E.M., you need to be at First Avenue on February 4, 2024, to see Shannon & Narducy do their best Michael Stipe impression.s

Mayer Hawthorne is back with For All Time. The tour will stop in Minneapolis on February 4, 2024.

We saw Mayer Hawthorne in November 2010 and said, “As for Mayer Hawthorne, to give you an idea of his music, he is basically a white dude that sings soul music…. and he’s good at it. He looks a bit like Buddy Holly, although he will tell you that he looks like Toby Maguire, based on a funny story that happened to him at the airport. Hawthorne is down to earth too, he’s the sort of guy that will take his limo through the McDonald’s drive-through for a McRib. Yummy. ”

The popular movie, based on the popular band ABBA’s songs… Mamma Mia! is a musical that will run from February 6 – 11, 2024.

If you’ve watched the movie, you know the story is about a daughter, a mother, and three possible fathers.

The play is described as, “Set on a Greek island paradise where the sun always shines, a tale of love, friendship and identity is beautifully told through the timeless hits of ABBA. On the eve of her wedding, a daughter’s quest to discover the father she’s never known brings three men from her mother’s past back to the island they last visited decades ago. For nearly 25 years, people all around the world have fallen in love with the characters, the story, and the music that make Mamma Mia! the ultimate feel-good show.”
