Thai-born, Canada-based drummer, and a Juno-nominated producer and composer, Salin is currently on tour in support of Rammana. The musician will stop by the Dakota Jazz Club on Monday, June 30, 2025.

Her single “Si Chomphu” has been in the Top 40 chart of Cat Radio (Thailand) and KCRW (LA).

The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board is thrilled to bring back Red, White & BOOM!, the city’s largest and most beloved Fourth of July event. With over 50,000 attendees and a full day of activities on the Mississippi Riverfront, this year’s celebration runs from 10 am to 10 pm, culminating in a spectacular fireworks show at 10 pm.

Event throughout the day will take place at Water Works and the Stone Arch Bridge parking lot, in Downtown Minneapolis Riverfront.

Korean pop rock band The Rose (더 로즈) will be headlining the Orpheum Theatre, in Minneapolis, on July 6, 2025, in support of their album WRLD. The band is composed of four members: Kim Woosung (vocals, guitar), Park Dojoon (vocals, keyboard), Lee Hajoon (drums), and Lee Jaehyeong (bass).

We first wrote about the band in Oct 2023, when they were playing the Armory.

We saw the band at le Musique Room in May 2024 and wrote, ““Sunday funday,” said Jay Ernest as the band took the stage and got right to it with “Jackson.” The Church of Cash is a review band with a simple mission: to honor the lasting legacy of Johnny Cash. Ernest was the emcee, the laidback minister, the conjurer of the late singer right down to the black outfit, bulwark-chest and whiskey barrel voice. A traveling musician by trade, Ernest found himself in Oahu playing bass in a hybrid reggae/Motown band. On his days off he would grab his acoustic guitar and play background music in an Irish bar in the Chinatown neighborhood of Honolulu. And as he played, he noticed the patrons would stop conversing and drinking to listen when he sang a Johnny Cash song. From that eureka moment the Church of Cash was formed.”
