Wolf Alice at First Ave (Mar 27, 2018)
|
We last saw the group in March 2018 and said, “One docile, beguiling and seemingly gentle, while the other being dark, ferocious, and relentless, and we saw both of these faces on display as rising UK alt-rock band Wolf Alice played three performances in two days (all in support of their sophomore full-length, Visions of a Life [Dirty Hit/RCA Records]), including to a capacity crowd in the Mainroom at First Avenue.”

Autoheart at Fine Line (December 10, 2025)
|
Sep 27, 2025 Saturday rescheduled to December 10
Autoheart
with Wild Party
at Fine Line
first-avenue.com
London-based alt-pop trio Autoheart will be headlining the Fine Line, in Minneapolis, now on December 10, in support of their album Heartlands (out now). The delay of the entire North American Tour is attributed to logistic issues that could not be overcome, but shows in Kansas City and Minneapolis remain on the updated schedule.
Wild Party at 7th Street Entry (Feb 21, 2015)
|
Wild Party to open. We caught the Texas band in Feb 2015 and wrote, “The evening began with a set by San Antonio, TX originating band Wild Party, who threw down an entertaining 40 min. of indie power pop. Their debut full-length, Phantom Pop (Old Friends Records), was slightly reworked from an earlier release and came out last October, though many of the songs, including initial single ‘When I Get Older’, date back four years prior. The band (Lincoln Kreifels- vocals, Lucas Hughes-guitar, Ethan Kaufmann- bass and Cary LaScala- drums) plays a likeable sonic blend that sits well alongside tracks by Spoon, Phoenix, and Magic Man.”
