Live at Parkteatret
by Sunturns (Dec 1, 2025)
It’s Christmas time, so that means Norway’s supergroup Sunturns have reformed. We mentioned the band last year saying, “So, every year, around this time, they come together like Voltron and write and record a new Xmas album. Can’t wait to hear about Christmas IV next year!”
This year, it’s not quite Christmas IV, but rather a live recording titled Live at Parkteatret of last year’s annual Christmas show, recorded at the historic Parkteatret venue in Oslo’s Grünerløkka neighborhood.

Sunturns are:

  • Ola Innset – vocals, guitars, banjo etc.
  • Sjur Lyseid – vocals, guitars etc.
  • Einar Stray – vocals, keyboards, guitars etc.
  • Eivind Almhjell – guitars, bass, etc.
  • Simen Herning – guitar
  • Jørgen Nordby – drums

Everybody Dance (it’s Christmas)
by Kieran Doyle (Dec 5, 2025)
Huddersfield, by the way of Manchester, Kieran Doyle will be releasing a Blues rock inspired tune, “Everybody Dance (it’s Christmas)” on December 5, 2025.
Doyle spent his whole life working in engineering, before turning to music during his mid-50s. That’s quite a career change… and so late in the game. His heroes include other Manchester’s musicians such as Noel Gallagher and Stone Roses.
Note: I checked all the registered historical facts, and apparently “Everybody Dance (it’s Christmas)” was written and recorded originally in November 2022. I got clarification that the 2022 song was a demo.

If you have a 2025 Christmas/Holiday song, please provide as much detail as possible to vu@weheartmusic.com before Christmas Day (December 25, 2025). Thank you.
