Dropkick Murphys’s is bringing their For the People…In the Pit St. Patrick’s Day 2026 Tour to Minnesota. The band strongly stands against Donald Trump’s I.C.E. enforcement, re-writing their “Citizen C.I.A.” to “Citizen I.C.E.” (featuring Haywire). Hope to hear the sheer anger and power of the song at their appearance at the Palace Theatre, in St Paul, on March 6, 2026.
Dropkick Murphys issued this statement:
As Americans are being executed in the street, we feel it is our duty to raise consciousness, and be one of the voices speaking against this nightmare. CITIZEN I.C.E. is FOR THE PEOPLE. Stand strong against tyranny. Use it however you want.
In Solidarity, with Love, Dropkick Murphys

Multi-genre musician John Oates, one half of Hall & Oates, will be heading to the Dakota Jazz Club, in Minneapolis, MN on March 6, 2026.
We saw Hall & Oates in May 2017 and said, “2014 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Daryl Hall and John Oates next took to the stage, as St. Paul became Philadelphia for their headlining set, clocked just shy of two-hours. Though the pair hasn’t released an album in more than a decade, they have been busy separately as well as touring together sporadically. John Oates has a successful solo career, having played the Dakota locally, and recently authored a memoir, Change of Seasons, released in March. Daryl Hall has released a handful of solo albums as well, probably now best known for his Live from Daryl’s House program, airing since 2007.”

Philadelphia-based rock ‘n’ roll artist Low Cut Connie (Adam Weiner) is on tour to support his protest album Livin in the USA (available July 3rd on Contender Records). Weiner will be headlining the Turf Club, in St Paul, on March 7, 2026.
Excerpt from Weiner’s statement about this new album:
I made this record because I am disgusted to see our country descend into an authoritarian hell, a moral vacuum, a place where art does not lead the cultural conversation.
I made this album to say f**k you to this regime, to the brutality and inhumanity of our political and tech leaders. They are a**holes with no class, taste, morality, or art in their bodies.
I made this record because I refuse to let these motherfuckers steal our art and steal our joy.
We last saw Low Cut Connie in Oct 2025 and said, “There is not much else to add, but based on my first experience, I felt like I was watching the spirit of Bruce Springsteen and the soul of James Brown in Adam’s stage presence. I will cite as evidence that there was a guy in the crowd with a Springsteen concert tee and when we started to filter out of the venue after the two-hour set, Brown’s “Living in America” ushered us out the doors. Even though the spirit and the soul of the band remain the same, there have been changes. The lineup changed at the end of 2024 when three longtime members left the band: guitarists Abigail Dempsey and Will Donnelly and bassist Linwood Regensburg. Joining Adam on stage was Rich Stanley on guitar, Nick Perri on bass, Jarae Lewis on drums, Kelsey Cork on guitar and tenor sax and the stellar Amanda “Rocky” Bullwinkel on vocals.”

Peter McPoland will be headlining First Avenue, in Minneapolis, on March 7, 2026.
Girl Tones to open. We saw them in March 2025 and wrote, “Next up was buzzing sister duo Girl Tones, aka Kenzie and Laila Crowe, who have a handful of singles out, including latest, “I Know You Know” and last year’s “Fade Away” produced by Cage the Elephant’s Brad Schultz, who reached out to the pair on social media, wanting to work with them. Their sound is a raw bluesy mix of riot grrrl and garage rock, full of jagged riffs and pounding beats with guitarist Kenzie determined to work up the crowd into a lather. “Blame” is planned to be the next single (complete with a new music video) and the pair was happy to be playing, though admitted forty-seven days on the road (after opening for Cage in Europe) was a little tiring, though still managed to turn it up to eleven for the closing, “Fade Away”. ”.
