Dice
Perth’s DICE released the single, “Call Me For A Good Time”, taken from their forthcoming album I Thought The Altitude Would Make It Worth The View (due out July 31).
Dice explains the song title:
A track of desire, addiction and devotion. It’s got that late night feeling and was definitely written to serve its title. ‘Call Me for a Good Time’ is us stepping directly into the afterparty of our mid-20s. Having Jay Watson from POND jump on synths was incredible—he brought this amazing, swirling nocturnal texture that completely dialled in that head-spinning, hazy feeling when you’re caught between heaven or hell at 3 AM, lost in the noise, and just looking for a real connection to numb the surroundings.
We saw Dice in Oct 2025 and wrote, “DICE had a heavier rock feel as they progressed through their set, with some really pulsating guitar work. Like the opener, Hodge said this was their first time in Minnesota, and really, their first extended tour in the United States. The band clearly recognized how great this was as they have hit the mid-point of the tour. Hourglass had King letting loose on his guitar throughout the latter half. This Is Not a Love Song, off the debut album, had a great bass lick from Beazley and Barrett-Lennard was flying on drums again. A loud round applause for the intro to Double Espresso also had multiple people with cameras out to record the moment. As the stage went dark, the band had a moment to reset, then came back to it with The Search, with a long guitar and drum intro that picked up speed as it went. Stop Sign was the last song for the night and had the band ending on a high note and inviting the audience to join them at the merch table. A quick word with the band had them talking about how exciting and crazy it was to be on this headlining US tour. The note, “I think we’re on state 11 of 26 that we’ll get to” showed their joy at being on the road and the members of DICE were off to talk with other audience members in the happy post-concert glow.”

Sienna Spiro
London-born sensation Sienna Spiro released her new single “Great Expectation”, taken from her debut album Visitor (Capitol Records). The single, along with the other two singles, all charted on the Billboard Hot 100 and she’s selling out her headline tour.
Expect to her return to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday, July 13.
Spiro talked about her song:
‘Great Expectation’ is about a time when I was living in New York for a little while and talking to someone who kept saying they were gonna come see me. Every morning, I’d walk down the stairs of the apartment building and, for a second, genuinely believe he’d be outside waiting. Then I’d spend the next five minutes walking down the street imagining what I’d say, what it would feel like, what would happen if they were really there. He never came. The song became less about that person, and more about expectation itself. Whether it’s beautiful or just a way of setting yourself up to be disappointed. I wrote this song about knowing deep down he would never be what I wanted and that living with the idea of him was safer than nothing at all.
By the way, if you are going to get her Visitor CD, you can get it autographed at no additional charge, via Amazon Exclusive
