Greg Norton’s current band is the punk-rock trio UltraBomb. The band features Norton on bass and vocals, alongside guitarist Ryan Smith (Soul Asylum) and drummer Derek O’Brien (Social Distortion). Norton originally rose to fame in Minnesota during the 1980s as the bassist for the legendary hardcore punk/alternative rock trio Hüsker Dü. Between his time in Hüsker Dü and UltraBomb, he played in other Minnesota-based bands like Gang Font and Porcupine
