One of VH1’s greatest 100 women of rock, Rickie Lee Jones will be doing a residency over at the Dakota Jazz Club in Minneapolis, starting November 4th.



Expect her to play her big hit “Chuck E’s In Love” from her 1979 debut album, and jazz standards, and also some cover tracks from her 2012 album The Devil You Know.



Recently, Jones is crowd-sourcing her upcoming album via Pledge Music. This will mark the first album of new material in 10 years! Note that one of the top tier pledges will have a song personalized to you!

November 8th sees The Besnard Lakes at the Triple Rock in Minneapolis. The new tour marks the first time the band has hit the West Coast since the release of their latest album Until In Excess, Imperceptible UFO. The album was released in March via Jagjaguwar.



Opening up will be Elephant Stone, a band that we previously covered in Minneapolis, noting that he “won over several in the crowd with his spirited solos and weaving late 60’s era Beatles/Kinks sounds with a modern edge.”
