Adam Bainbridge, aka Kindness, will be playing the Triple Rock Social Club this March 10th. The last time I heard from him, he remixed
Röyksopp & Robyn’s “Monument”, so Kindness can also be more in the funk/DJ/producer area.
New Orleans’ Jared Pellerin, or otherwise known as his stagename, Pell, is set to open the show. Pell is currently on tour in support of his debut album Floating While Dreaming.
Regarding the cover artwork, Pell said, “There’s a lot that I could say about Floating While Dreaming, but the most important thing I want people to know is that it comes from the heart. Music is my passion and it feels great for me to be able to share my insight on life and what it has given me so far. The album is for the people out there chasing their dreams and aspirations that remain unconquered. Keep believing, and keep dreaming.”

As we have previously mentioned, Country music is big in the Minneapolis area, so expect a healthy crowd for Clint Black at Ames Center.
Meanwhile, Tom Petty tribute band Free Fallin will be playing Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill.
If country is not your thing, Helmet will be playing Mill City Nights on March 11th.
If you grew up in the 90s, you will recall their ever creepy music videos on MTV. For the 21st Anniversary of Betty, the band will be playing the entire album on this tour…. but be sure to stay until the encore, as they promised as an extended set (with likely all the fan favorite songs).

Also on the same evening, California’s Delta Spirit will be playing Aria, while Canada’s Viet Cong will be playing at 7th Street Entry. I am not really sure why I find the name Viet Cong slightly offensive (especially since I don’t believe they are Vietnamese) … it is like calling your band the Nazis; it’s not funny.
