Of the 100+ shows I got to see in 2014, Kaiser Chiefs were one of the few top moments for me. In fact, #2; just behind Slowdive.

Kaiser Chiefs is back in North America … kicking off their tour on April 20th at Distrikt in Victoria, British Columbia. Sus caught the British band last night, April 24th at The Regency Center (The Grand Ballroom) in San Francisco and grabbed the setlist. Priory, who we previously caught with The Kooks in 2014, opened up the show.
Sus writes:
This band (Kaiser Chiefs) is still my happy place ten years and beyond. Employment has been one of the few albums in the last couple of decades that I listen to every song on. I made Barrie buy it on our first date at Mod Lang Records in Berkeley. Setlist says “Seattle”, but I’ll take it. Every song a gem and we got to hear “Falling Awake”. Lucky Ricky Wilson’s voice hung in there.
