Charles Bradley

The Screaming Eagle of Soul sure does know how to drum up the excitement. Tuesday night at the Cedar Cultural Center, after excellent opener Paul and His Tall Trees exited the stage…

CHARLES BRADLEY

at First Avenue

Charles Bradley, billed as Charles Bradley His Extraordinaires, is back in Minneapolis next Thursday, this time in support of his third album Changes (Dunham / Daptone Records).

We’ve caught the Screaming Eagle of Soul a few times, including Festival Palomino 2014, First Avenue (2013), The Cedar (2013), and First Avenue (2011) … so we’re big fans.

Although no opening bands are listed, it wouldn’t surprise us if Bradley decided to play an extra-long set… they are one of the hardest working band touring today.
