When I was a radio DJ in the early ‘90s, The Circle Jerks were already an old, established band. That’s why, especially in 2022, that it’s amazing to see the Southern California hardcore punk band is going strong. They’ve just remastered their album on all formats through Trust Records and are in the middle of a national tour.
The special 40th Anniversary Tour will receive support from Negative Approach, Adolescents, and 7Seconds. I am especially interested in see 7Seconds, as I saw Kevin Seconds in NXNE 2011… but it simply wasn’t the same as having the original band. For that reason, it’s quite special to see that 7Seconds have reunited for the first time in over five years.
Fans of ‘80s punk music need to attend this show… this might be your last chance.

Los Angeles-based instrumental supergroup Circles Around the Sun announced their first tour in 2022, stopping by the Turf Club in St Paul on March 24th.
Recently, they announced guitarist John Lee Shannon as the permanent replacement for founding member Neal Casal (who passed away in August 2019).
