Rachel Grae, the singer with over 1.3 million TikTok followers and 400 million+ Spotify streams, will be headlining the 7th Street Entry this Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2025. Grae’s debut album, Journal No. 1 is out now on Virgin Music.

Holden Miller and Caleb Dee to open. We saw Dee in Nov 2024 and wrote, “Caleb Dee, a local Minneapolis, six-piece band was the opener. Dee mentioned that they had also opened for Krooked Kings last year. This was solid indie pop and seemed thematically similar to the headline. The band played an as yet unreleased song for the second in the list, with the four guitars making a rich sound. Dee invited fans to come closer to the stage, and it was one of the very few times I’ve seen that actually work.”

Benjamin Booker
with Kenny Segal
at Turf Club

first-avenue.com

Benjamin Booker will be touring in support of his first new album in seven years: Lower. The record is due out January 24, 2025, via Fire Next Time Records/Thirty Tigers.

We saw Benjamin Booker in Jun 2014, and wrote, “As a giant warehouse, renovated into a concert venue, House of Vans sits in the Greenpoint neighborhood of Brooklyn. Thursday’s show started off with Benjamin Booker, a New Orleans guitarist accompanied by Max Norton on drums and an additional guitarist. Having only heard one song, his single “Violent Shiver,” I only had a vague idea of what his music would sound like. “Violent Shiver” seems to be the most pop-ish of his mainly garage, punk rock sound with an extra mix of blues. With about a hundred people in the crowd, Booker managed to ignite a slight most pit by the third quarter of the set. Booker has a traditional rocker (doesn’t that sound like an oxymoron) stage presence, swinging his guitar around (to the point where the microphone stand fell, though it remains to be seen if that was purposeful or not), seemingly not giving a shit, and screaming his lyrics at times.”

Kenny Segal to open.
