The Ramona Flowers at 7th St Entry (Feb 26, 2026)

The Ramona Flowers

at 7th St Entry

first-avenue.com
Scott Pilgrim’s inspired band The Ramona Flowers is returning to Minneapolis, headlining the 7th Street Entry, on February 26, 2026.
We saw the Ramona Flowers in September 2016 and said, “Named for the “ninja delivery girl” in Bryan Lee O’Malley’s cult classic comic series (and subsequent movie), Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Bristol, UK’s five-piece The Ramona Flowers opened the evening with a forty-minute set of arresting stadium-size indie rock in support of their latest, Part Time Spies (Distiller Records). The quintet (Steve Bird-vocals; Sam James-guitar; Wayne Jones-bass; Dave Betts-keyboards, guitar; and Ed Gallimore- drums) plays songs that both make you dance and make you think, enhanced on the new record by co-producer Chris Zane, who has previously worked with Friendly Fires and Passion Pit.Singer Bird’s voice lifts to heights in a Bono-like way, only to move effortlessly into a Thom Yorke falsetto while James’ guitars set the atmosphere with a touch of electro such as on the title track to 2014’s Dismantle and Rebuild and its lyric, “The stars are out tonight / They’re as wide as my eyes”.”
The ticket limit is strict. Any attempt to exceed the posted ticket limit per customer or household, or to game the system in any way, will result in cancellation of orders without notice. There is a transfer delay for all tickets prior to the show.
Callback and clovers daughter to open. The latter was last seen opening for Six Foot Blonde in Rocktober 2025 and Yola in May 2025. Clovers Daughter’s EP Fragile Feeling will be out February 18.

Cat Power at First Ave (Feb 26, 2026)
February 26, 2026 Thursday
Cat Power
at First Avenue
first-avenue.com
Cat Power is on tour in celebration of the 20th anniversary of her milestone 2006 album, The Greatest. The tour will stop by First Avenue, in Minneapolis, on February 26, 2026.
We saw Cat Power in March 2024 and wrote, “The idea of this concert came from Cat Power’s love for Bob Dylan and her obsession of Bob Dylan’s “Royal Albert Hall Concert” in 1966 (which is actually a mislabeled bootleg for the Dylan’s Manchester Free Trade Hall in May 1966). The famed original performance saw Dylan playing a traditional acoustic and harmonica set… but then, midway in his show, he switched to electric – and that drew a lot of outrage from the purists in the crowd, who did not want their rock ‘n’ roll in their folk. Cat Power took on the task recreating the original Dylan concert, song-for-song… but in her own unique singing style and arrangement. The first part of the show, is definitely a quieter set. The stage light is dimmed, the hall lights are turned off, it’s like you’re watching a musical. The audience was extremely respectful and quiet, you can hear a pin drop (or a guy sipping his drink). The focus is on Cat Power, with acoustic guitars from Henry Munson and harmonica/pianist Aaron Embry*.”

at 7th St Entry

first-avenue.com
Minneapolis’ Christy Costello, billed as Christy Costello & the CC Club, will be headlining the 7th Street Entry, on February 27, 2026.
We saw Christy Costello in Feb 2025 and said, “Christy Costello started with a music video ahead of their appearance. Costello’s music has a more retro rock sound, with a bit of a surf rock feel. It’s a sizable band with several members on brass and Monica LaPlante, who we saw earlier this month, on bass. This had great energy throughout, with a secondary percussion member dancing and basically playing hype woman with the crowd. Costello’s vocals cut through the complicated backing music and there is a real showmanship in addition the great musical chops.”
Edging, Mary Jam and Catbath to open.
Christy Costello writes:
Friday February 27th we’re gonna bring the heat into the deepfreeze at The 7th St Entry!! We’re still riding the high of Saturday’s super fun high energy Turf Club Show! So we can’t wait to do it again and trickle in some killer new tunes at this one! I can’t express enough how lit this line-up is! Ticket link is are in our bios🎉

Fear no more freaks, Edging is here to liberarte you with heavy riffs, searing sax, and queer chaos! Edgings punk fueled songs delve deep into the complexities of the human experience. Drawing from human rights, trans and queer identities, societies inevitable collapse and well, frustration. The band channels this emotion into one of the most high energy shows you can experience. It’s high time the current world got fucked by an Edging show.

Catbath took a few years long ‘cat nap’ and have recently returned to rock our faces! Incase you forgot they are Minneapolis-based indie/garage rock band known for catchy melodies, fuzzy riffs, and energetic live shows!
