Mpls: Bruce Springsteen at Target Center (March 31, 2026)

March 31 @ 6:00 pm
Bruce Springsteen at Target Center (March 31, 2026)
We previously mentioned that the murders of Renée Good and Alex Pretti had united people from across the globe to stand up against the brutality of Donald Trump’s I.C.E. There are so many anti-ICE songs that there is a whole Wikipedia Page.
Musicians Against ICE:

Bruce Springsteen
The Boss, Bruce Springsteen was so angry at the killings of Good and Pretti that he wrote and produce, “Streets of Minneapolis” on January 29, 2026… and then hopped on an airplane and landed in Minnesota to rock with the free people of Minneapolis on the next day with his friend Tom Morello on the Defend Minnesota show.
Here’s how we described Bruce’s appearance, “The set was almost over and Morello invited Reilly, Di Meola, and Tim McIlrath join for a great version of Woody Guthrie’s This Land Is Your Land, one of the great early protest songs and if you haven’t checked it in a while, those latter verses are inflammatory to the status quo. It was outstanding and everyone left the stage but Morello who gave one more speech before introducing Bruce Springsteen, who came out to sing his brand new song Streets of Minneapolis. While in Bruce’s words, “it may be a little soapboxy”, his performance of it was gritty and real and the crowd was rightfully blown away. Getting a quartet, an electric version of The Ghost of Tom Joad was a perfect number for what is going on and with Springsteen and Morello trading verses and sizzling guitar solos was insanely fun to witness.”
Now the “Born in the USA” musician re-assembling his famous The E Street Band to head out on his Land of Hope and Dreams American Tour.
Tom Morello (of Rage Against the Machine) believes in fighting for the American people, that he had to cancel his Spring tour to join Springsteen for a select number of dates – starting with, where else? Minneapolis, at the Target Center, on March 31st, 2026.
In a video announcing the tour, Bruce said:
Brothers and sisters, fans, friends and good folks from coast to coast.

We are living through dark, disturbing, and dangerous times, but do not despair, the cavalry is coming. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street band will be taking the stage this Spring. From Minneapolis to California to Texas to Washington DC for the land of Hope and Dreams American tour.

We will be rocking your town in celebration and in defense of America, American democracy, American freedom, our American constitution, and our sacred American dream, all of which is under attack by our wannabe King and his rogue government in Washington DC.

Everyone, regardless of where you stand and what you believe in is welcomed. So come on out and join the united free republic of E Street nation for an American Spring of rock and rebellion.

I’ll see you there.
