We previously mentioned that the murders of Renée Good and Alex Pretti had united people from across the globe to stand up against the brutality of Donald Trump’s I.C.E. There are so many anti-ICE songs that there is a whole Wikipedia Page.
Musicians Against ICE:

Tales from the Road (July 2025)
Brody King
All Elite Wrestling (AEW)’s wrestler Brody King (and singer of God’s Hate) is using his platform to bring awareness to the ICE invasion of his home state of California. The wrestler wore his infamous “Abolish ICE” shirt for his match in Mexico City , to show support of the protesters, in June 2025.
Now, with the recent murders in Minnesota, he stepped it up and partnered with comic book artist Daniel Warren Johnson (Headlocked Comics) to release Tales from the Road and other variant. They’ve donated nearly $60k to Minnesota Rights Action Committee.
His activism did not go unnoticed. In a recent bout with AEW World Champion MJF, you can clearly hear the very loud “F**K ICE” chant. Take a look for yourself in the video below:

In other comic book-related news, creator Zander Cannon was recently interviewed on The Beat in the front lines in Minneapolis.
Personally speaking, I’ve not heard of him (sorry I’m only really into DC or Marvel Comics), but I’ll always show respect for artists against ICE. He also brings up a very good question about Target not pushing back against Trump (I’ve had the same question for Target and Walmart.)
Ben: Alex Pretti was shot and killed the next day, on the 24th. What has life been like since then?
Zander: So my son is a Korean adoptee. One of the groups that ICE is targeting is Hmong immigrants. And to say nothing of anybody who’s not white or white passing. And so I think as things get a little bit darker and grimmer, I think it’s tough on him. He quit his job at Target because they weren’t protecting or having the back of any of their employees. A couple people who do exactly what he does, were tackled to the ground, and they broke one of their arms and left them somewhere else a mile away. It was astonishing, and there was no pushback from Target.

XXV Olympic Winter Games (Feb 6, 2026)
Winter Olympics 2026
I feel sorry for our Italian partner, Kalporz, who has to deal with ICE and JD Vance.
Vance have previously called Alex Pretti a terrorist and blamed the two Minnesota murders were of their own doing. Nowhere does he hold ICE accountable for their murderous ways.
Thankfully, the government and people of Milan, Italy, knows exactly what the score is. The Milan mayor, Giuseppe Sala, opposed the presence of ICE, stating, “This is a militia that kills, a militia that enters into the homes of people, signing their own permission slips. It is clear they are not welcome in Milan, without a doubt.”
Despite his protests, ICE is in Italy, and the people do not want them there. As the camera turned to JD Vance, the entire audience gave out a loud “BOOO.”
Excerpt from USA Today:
As U.S. Olympians walked into the [San Siro Stadium] in matching Ralph Lauren ensembles during the Parade of Nations, choruses of cheers rang out across the crowd of spectators, until U.S. Vice President JD Vance and his wife, Second Lady Usha Vance, were shown on the stadium’s Jumbotron. At the sight of Vance waving miniature American flags from the San Siro grandstand, the crowd booed loudly.
Unfortunately, trying to find the ‘boo’ clip may be hard to find, because NBC will notoriously copyright-claim any clips. The official clips that the White House shared had the ‘boos’ removed and edited out the commentary mentioning the loud boos.
I hope JD Vance gets constant boos wherever he goes (for the rest of his life).

Lorde: ICE Out (Feb 3, 2026)
The Taxpayers
The Taxpayers and Ryan Cassata have released a charity split 7”: “Power Trippin Dipsh*ts” & “We Don’t F*ck With Cops.” The proceeds will benefit The Open Market MN and Rent Relief for Immigrant Students in Minneapolis. In addition, they will hold a benefit show at the Underground Music Café, in Minneapolis, on April 3, 2026.
Rob Taxpayer says:
Hello from occupied Minneapolis!

As I write this, over 2,000 masked gunmen calling themselves “federal agents” rove through neighborhoods of my beautiful city, abducting people off the streets, kidnapping children as young as 2, gassing entire neighborhoods, and shooting US citizens in the back for filming them. Every 15 minutes or less, violence erupts. They slam us to the ground, pepper spray us in the face, break our ribs, and disappear us into the Whipple federal building, some of whom are never seen again.

Yet, for all their furious anger, incompetence, and seeming impunity, they are losing. They have lost public support, even among some conservatives. Moderates are calling for abolishing ICE. For every successful abduction, we foil another 10. Our marching bands keep them awake in their hotels at night. When they walk to their vehicles in the morning, their tires have all gone mysteriously flat. Their religious leaders have denounced them.

And they are not losing against a funded, hierarchical military organization. They are losing to The People. We are grandparents, soccer moms, dishwashers, teenagers, nurses, teachers. We are leaderless and we are fucking UNITED. Seasoned war reporters and military veterans have marveled at the extent of our nonviolent organization.

There are many heroes in the battle of The People of Minnesota Versus ICE. But here are two doing important work: Open Market MN, which operates a free, volunteer-run grocery store in Saint Paul, and Twin Cities Trans Mutual Aid, which distributes donated funds directly to the trans community in Minnesota. Both did their work long before ICE arrived and will continue long after.

I am particularly appreciative of the Open Market because they are giving us the means to feed families unable to leave their homes to go to the grocery store, to go to work, to go anywhere, without fear of abduction.

I deeply want to tell you about some of the wonderful people impacted by all this, but infuriatingly, I have to be incredibly vague so as not to put them at risk. Suffice it to say, they are fucking awesome human beings doing incredible things under impossible circumstances, and we are lucky to count them as community members.

So, with all that in mind, we’d like to announce the release of a benefit vinyl 7″ and a benefit show on Friday, April 3rd with Ryan Cassata and Baby Mahi & the Sitters at Underground Music Venue in Minneapolis.

The vinyl 7” has two songs “Power Trippin Dipshits” by The Taxpayers (featuring Ryan Cassata) and “We Don’t Fuck With Cops” by Ryan Cassata (featuring the Taxpayers). It’s being released by the lovely and ever-supportive Ernest Jenning Record Co. Proceeds from it will be split between helping support the Open Market and funding a Rent Relief program for folks who need it because of all this bullshit.

The show will be in Minneapolis on Friday, April 3rd with Ryan Cassata and Baby Mahi and the Sitters at Underground Music Venue. Proceeds will benefit the ongoing work of the awesome Twin Cities Trans Mutual Aid network.

You can get tickets to the show and order the 7” at the links in our bio or by heading over to thetaxpayersband.com

We can win the war against fascism if we are organized, unified, and inclusive.

Keep looking out for each other. See you on April 3rd!

Solidarity forever,
The Taxpayers

We can attest to the band’s message of love and their support for various anti-war organizations, when we saw Taxpayers in March 2025 and said, “Currently, the band is led by Rob on guitars and vocals, two horns, Noah on percussion, Nasrene on bass, and occasional pianist. After a long hiatus, the band is back and they were really excited to play songs from their latest Circle Breaker, which just came out on Ernest Jenning Record Co. Songs were mostly from Circle Breaker, including their single “At War with the Dogcatchers” as the fourth song played on their set. The record has a theme of healing and that’s also the message the band brought with them. And the message is clear, the answer is love and peace. This is why this rock show included all these local community organizations, including an anti-war protest organization.”

I.C.E. OUT! at First Avenue (Feb 15, 2026)
T.C.U.P.
This local show at First Avenue on February 15, 2026, was put together by Twin Cities United Performers (TCUP). The organization was born out of an historic campaign to organize and unionize workers at First Ave venues during the fall of 2023. Now they’re putting together a benefit show to help support families affected by the federal invasion.
100% of proceeds will be donated DIRECTLY to families in desperate need. Let’s rally to support families impacted by escalating violence from federal agents in our neighborhoods.
Bands on the bill:
  • Hippo Campus
  • papa mbye
  • 26 BATS!
We saw Hippo Campus in Mar 2017 and wrote, “The buzz for Hippo Campus at their homecoming show was simply amazing. As soon as the band took the stage, a hundred cellphones went up in the air to record every moment of the band. The audience was generally young teenagers, but that is expected for a semi-rare all-ages weekend show at First Avenue. The last time we saw Hippo Campus, they were definitely one of the key attractions to Rock the Garden 2016. Their RTG 50-min set “wowed the many in the crowd who were there to see them play a danceable mix of familiar and some yet-to-be-released songs.” Some of those preview songs are now available on their debut record landmark (Grand Jury Records).”
