The recent murders Renée Good and Alex Pretti have united musicians from across the globe to stand up against the brutality of Donald Trump’s I.C.E.
Musicians Against ICE:

New England Forever by Dropkick Murphys (Feb 4, 2026)

Dropkick Murphys
Dropkick Murphys just dropped their new song, “Citizen I.C.E.” (featuring Haywire). The song is an updated version of Dropkick Murphy’s original 2005 song “Citizen C.I.A.,” which a song originally written about the C.I.A.’s interference of foreign affairs and regime changes. Now with the recent murders and coverups in Minneapolis, the band is determined to bring attention and force I.C.E. out of the city.
It’s a typical punk song, it’s very short and to the point. What you have you take away from the song is that it’s best to experience the song live (and in a mosh pit!). It’s sheer anger and power and venting of the Dropkick Murphys (and Haywire) as they call out to the “below average intelligence” of ICE agents.
Dropkick Murphys issued this statement:
As Americans are being executed in the street, we feel it is our duty to raise consciousness, and be one of the voices speaking against this nightmare. CITIZEN I.C.E. is FOR THE PEOPLE. Stand strong against tyranny. Use it however you want.

In Solidarity, with Love, Dropkick Murphys

American Football at First Ave (Aug 16, 2026)
American Football
Football’s been on the minds of a lot of people lately. Despite getting the FIFA’s made-up “Peace Prize” to pleased Donald Trump, it is not going well for the World Cup this Summer. There is an ongoing boycott on the World Cup from people around the globe who feels that “the US is not safe to visit.”
All eyes are on Bad Bunny at the upcoming NFL’s Super Bowl LX on February 8th. It’s going to be a doozy to watch, especially after his Grammy winning.
The far-right, pro-MAGA, pro-ICE musicians, led by Kid Rock, with a bunch of people you’ve never heard of, will be playing their own “All-American Halftime Show”.
Meanwhile, Midwest-emo icons American Football announced a 2026 World Tour. Their tour will kick off in May, and ending in Minneapolis, in August. Hopefully, ICE will be out of the state by then. We can always hope.
The band will be donating to immigration charities:
In response to the deadly violence and intimidation around the country provoked by ICE, American Football will be partnering with PLUS1 to donate $£1/€1 from every ticket sold across the tour to Safe Passage International & The Illinois Coalition for Immigration & Refugee Rights; two essential organizations defending immigrant rights and supporting deportees, migrants, and refugees.

Lorde: ICE Out (Feb 3, 2026)
Lorde
I don’t use Instagram, I don’t understand Instagram, so I can’t verify this post from New Zealander’s Lorde. Apparently, this only appears if you follow her and see her Instagram Stories, so it’s essentially not public or viewable without the app.
The photo has the words “ICE OUT” written on Lorde’s hand with the message:
I’m donating our merch take in Minneapolis ($204k) to Minnesota Immigration Rights Action Committee + Immigrant Defense Network.
You don’t have to be a math wiz to understand that she sold a ton of T-Shirts at her last Minnesota appearance.
We saw Lorde in March 2018 and said, “The stage was then laid mostly bare as lights dimmed and the intro music of Kate Bush’s ‘Running Up that Hill’ signaled the arrival of Lorde and her dancers for a hundred-minute headlining set in support of second full-length Melodrama (Lava/Republic Records), managing to work in every song from the new record, as well as several older favorites. The intro music was appropriate, as the first part of the show resembled a Kate Bush performance, with leotard-clad dancers expressively interpreting the songs through movement both inside and outside of the so-called “terrarium”, a clear-walled shipping container-sized box which rose from the floor and would elevate and swing in the air with cabled support. Her trio of backing musicians literally stayed in the shadows for the show, with the artist shedding her flowing coat early, even using the inside of the terrarium for a quick wardrobe change, instead of ducking backstage. “I’ve never been to your part of the world before… there is already such a good vibe in this room.” Before 2013 hit, ‘Tennis Court’ the twenty-one year old born Ella Yelich-O’Connor said “Friday is good because… Friday means we’re gonna dance a bunch!” which the mostly female audience was happy to comply with.”
