The murders of Renée Good and Alex Pretti had united people from across the globe to stand up against the brutality of Donald Trump’s I.C.E. There are so many anti-ICE songs that there is a whole Wikipedia Page.

■ Musicians against I.C.E.
Musicians against I.C.E. is a series from WHM. With the recent ICE murders of Renée Good and Alex Pretti, it had united and inspired musicians across the glob to stand against the brutality of Donald Trump’s I.C.E.

■ Bruce Springsteen
Bruce Springsteen is an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist. Nicknamed “the Boss”, Springsteen has released 21 studio albums spanning six decades; most of his albums feature the E Street Band, his backing band since 1972. Springsteen is a pioneer of heartland rock, combining commercially successful rock with poetic, socially conscious lyrics that reflect working-class American life. He is known for his energetic concerts, some of which last more than four hours.
No Kings
The organizers, via CBS, said that this upcoming No Kings March, in St Paul, Minnesota, will likely draw in over 100,000 people… partly thanks to Bruce Springsteen, Joan Baez, and Jane Fonda appearing and supporting the march.
Personally speaking, even without the support of singers and actors, I fully believe it would draw in that much, just because the current climate in America is horrible because of King Donald Trump. If you’ve been keeping up with the news, he threatens war or take Canada and Greenland by force. He started a war of Venezuela and Iran. He’s taxed the entire world (through his stupid tariffs). He’s murdered US citizens through his masked I.C.E. agents, murdered fishermens, murdered school girls. He’s hiding the Epstein files. He renamed the Kennedy Center (and when no one would play, he closed the center down).
It’s time Americans stand up against this King. Kick him out of office, charge him with war crimes and lock him up. Let’s reverse all the damage he’s done and hopefully the rest of the world will understand and, once again, look at America with respect and as a guiding light.
The message is simple:
Masked secret police terrorizing our communities. An illegal, catastrophic war putting us in danger and driving up our costs. Attacks on our freedom of speech, our civil rights, our freedom to vote. Costs pushing families to the brink. Trump wants to rule over us as a tyrant. But this is America, and power belongs to the people – not to wannabe kings or their billionaire cronies.

On March 28th, we show up together, and we say, loud and clear: No Kings.

God Save America (Mar 25, 2026)

Jaysdead
Indian punk band Jaysdead released their protest song “God Save America,” ahead of No Kings Day.
U.S. born, India-based songwriter Jay partnered with American filmmakers Scott Stuckey (co-creator of the PBS children’s show Pancake Mountain), producer Jonathan Stein, and documentary filmmaker Scott Crawford (Salad Days) on the new music video “God Save America”. Unfortunately, as of this writing, the music video is not available on YouTube. It’s coming, as noted by a short teaser “shorts”.
Jay comments on his song:
This song came from a very real place. I grew up in America, and now I’m living in India, so I get to see things from a different lens. But the impact of what’s happening in the U.S. doesn’t go away just because I’m across the world – it still hits just as hard. Seeing Renée Good and Alex Priti get murdered and then hearing their names being questioned and torn apart by leadership was something I couldn’t emotionally hold back from. That’s what gave birth to this song. Everything else happening in the world just completed it. I don’t know if it changes anything, but this was the only way I knew how to do something about it – to write a song.

F**k ICE by Jillian Rae (Feb 11, 2026)

Jillian Rae
Local artist Jillian Rae recently released “F**k Ice” single with proceeds to go toward Mutual Aid. Rae will likely perform this song at the No King march this Saturday.

Rae wrote the song in response to the murder of Renee Good and Alex Pretti by ICE agents during the federal occupation of Minneapolis. She writes:
Minneapolis is my home. I love my city and my community very much. All human beings deserve dignity, respect, and decency. This song is an ode to my city and my neighbors.

We saw Rae in July 2025, Aug 2025, and Sep 2025 with this note, “Coming out as a pair for “a chill duo set” rather than their standard quartet, it was Rae and Eric Martin both on guitars and vocals, starting with the song White Walls. It was a slightly different sound, but it played well with Rae’s vocals taking more central stage. The lyric “I can’t be the one you want me to be” packed a hefty punch and was a pretty good distillation of what Rae’s music was going for. Free was a song about angst, and Rae let us know that the feelings she had when she wrote in 2016 still resonate for her today. The guitar work, quiet then loud and a little syncopated, gave an uneven feel and let Rae’s vocals shine. A newer song, You Do You, “will be on one of the two new albums we’re working on” and had a more nasally vocal sound from Rae riding on top of Martin’s rock chords. An unplanned song, Heart in a Jar, was “a zombie love song”, with reverb heavy effects as Rae switched to violin. A slowed down cover of Prince’s When Doves Cry was nearing the end of the set. The final song, Heartbeat, let Rae and Martin go full out and was a delightful end.”
Blight by the Antlers (July 29, 2025)

The Antlers
Brooklyn’s The Antlers is about to kick off their April tour, and I’m always happy to support any band that has compassion for other humans and stands against ICE brutality.
Here is an excerpt from the Antler’s tour diary (presuming written by band leader Peter Silberman):
Jan 24 Portland, OR [9am]

This morning in the hotel continental breakfast area, there was a big TV playing CNN and that was when I saw the footage of Alex Pretti. Sat at a table by myself watching… disturbed, heartbroken, worried, other feelings I don’t have words for.

Was looking around to see how people were reacting to it. Like me, they were glued to the TV and transfixed, but I couldn’t tell much beyond that. Really odd contrast to see that terrible violence coupled with people filling up their plates with powdered eggs and trying to work the waffle iron.

If anything, I would hope some of that humanity will make it into the Antlers’ next album. We saw the band in April 2010 and wrote, “Despite what their setlist said (a total of 8 songs), The Antlers played more than an hour’s worth of music. Maybe their songs are just “extra long” because of the “experimental” things, but I would argue that I think there were songs that were played that’s not on the setlist. For instance, I’m pretty sure that I heard singer Peter Silberman said one of their songs played was “Tip” (an old song). Most of the songs played were from their album, Hospice. There were two encore songs, the final song played was “Epilogue”, which is very fitting for its title.”
Tour Dates:
  • Apr 10 Songbyrd Music House @ Washington, DC
  • Apr 11 The Sanctuary at Mr. Smalls @ Millvale, PA
  • Apr 12 Ace of Cups @ Columbus, OH
