Tiger! Tiger! band is a “bar band” based out of Atlanta, Georgia, and signed to Chicken Ranch Records.

What I found really interested about their latest CD, The Kind of Goodnight is that they originally released it on a limited pressing (probably for touring for fans to buy?) on July 31th. They are releasing the album officially nationwide next Tuesday, October 9th.

Here are some tracks worth listening to: “Stand In” (a surprisingly good intro song for the album), “Black Daggers”, “So You Won’t Deceive Me”, “Misfortune, Bad Weather & Debt” (lead vocals by Shane Pringle) and “Windows”.

The artwork direction seems to be a kind of pulp 50s advertisements. All the artworks (which I’m assuming also came up with the tonic ideas) were drawn by their organ player, Sam Leyja.

The CD Plus also comes with two bonus Flash videos: “Black Daggers” and “So You Won’t Deceive Me”. You can easily find these videos online, so check them out if you haven’t seen them.

I can only describe the video for “Black Daggers” as incredibly cheesy. Just think of it as a B-movie and you will get the general idea. Or better yet, just watch it:
