There was a lot of young people out that bitterly cold Thursday night, and based on how packed the small venue was for a band from Ireland called Two Door Cinema Club, I can tell you that this band is going to be huge. Especially because the band hasn’t even released an album yet.
On the bright side, it gave Bad Vein and Funeral Party an audience to play to, to get their name out.
They ended their set with, appropriately titled “Finale”: “your head’s all grey and your shoes are worn and the books you’ve read with the pages torn.“
Surprisingly heady lyrics for such a young energetic band.
All the songs that were played, I would reckon, is from their album, Golden Age Of Knowhere, which I’m not sure is even released yet. You can get a sample song, “Giant Song” for free, from funeralpartymusic.com.
