This Portland-based band was the opener for Thao & The Get Down Stay Down on April 1st at the Cedar Cultural Center. Sallie Ford and The Sound Outside was in town promoting their newest album Untamed Beast out on Partisan Records.

Her 1950’s Rock & Roll inspired look, sound and dance moves are nostalgic of an energy from a different era, reminiscent of the youth and innocence of years past. What she does is done well, and she delivers a fun package to present times. The band is will be headed out of the country shortly before returning to the states.
