DJ/Producer Porter Robinson will be touring in support of his debut album Worlds, coming out this week, August 12th, on Astralwerks.

For this tour, speaking to Stereogum, Robinson revealed that his live show will be quite impressive: a 32-foot screens, 96 lighting fixtures, 480 streamer tubes, 1,600 pounds of confetti, and 15 50-pound tanks of CO2, designed in collaboration with music technologist and artist Laura Escudé aka Alluxe (Kanye, Jay Z, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Drake) and controlled by Robinson with Ableton Live and interactive MIDI controllers.

Rich Robinson's brother Chris Robinson is the lead singer of The Black Crowes. When the band went "on indefinite hiatus", Robinson formed The Chris Robinson Brotherhood.

Recently, Way Over Yonder Music Festival (taking place September 26-27 at Santa Monica Pier) announced The Chris Robinson Brother has one of the headliners, among other famous acts, such as
Jackson Browne and
Lucinda Williams.

The Chris Robinson Brotherhood latest release is called Phosphorescent Harvest and is available now on
Silver Arrow Records.
