The Ballroom Thieves is back in Minneapolis next Friday, December 18th. We previously caught the band at the Bryant-Lake Bowl in May 2015.
The Bros Landreth are really two brothers from Canada, will open the show, with Madison, Wisconsin’s The Sharrows.

ALL THEM WITCHES
with New Madrid

Athens-based New Madrid will be making a stop at the Turf Club in St Paul on Sunday, December 19th in support of their 2014 album Sunswimmer (Normaltown Records). These guys have an awesome sound that is almost psych-rock but not quite. At times it just sounds like layers upon layers of noise and then the next song sounds like a straight up rock song. They are said to be working on a new album coming out next year, so I’m anxious to see what the new songs sound like!
They will be opening for All Them Witches who were here in February and played to a packed house at the 7th Street Entry.
Tickets are moving fast for this show. Don’t miss your chance to catch these awesome bands!

This family features Linda Peterson (famous for her Jazz album Too Late To Leave Early), Billy Peterson (bassist for Steve Miller for 15 years), Ricky Peterson (co-produced The Most Beautiful Girl in the World for Prince), Patty Peterson (winner of seven Minnesota Music awards), Paul Peterson (discovered by Prince and used in his film “Purple Rain”), and Jason Peterson-Delaire (the grandchild, toured with Michael Bolton).
