Various news sources are reporting that Maurice White, co-founding member Earth, Wind & Fire, has died at the age of 74.

According to tmz.com, he died in his sleep Thursday morning (4 February 2016), to a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease. He was diagnosed in 1992 and stopped touring with the band in 1994… however he still retained control of the band.
