Minneapolis, by the way of Tennessee, Chastity Brown will be one of the headlining artist in a new music series called The Music & Storyteller Sessions, presented by Sue McLean & Associates.

The music session offers fans a rich experience with some of today’s most prolific singer/songwriter. What that means is that fans will have the opportunity to interact with the musicians, which they can submit their questions and have the artist answer from the stage. This is very appealing to fans.

The Chastity Brown show will take place March 12th, 2022, at the The Woman’s Club of Minneapolis.

The next The Music & Storyteller Sessions will feature New York-based performer Eric Hutchinson on April 1st, 2022.

Marisa Monte

In her first major USA tour, Brazilian singer/songwriter Marisa Monte, will stop by the State Theatre in Minneapolis on March 12th. The tour is in support of her 12th album Portas (Phonomotor/Sony Music).

If you’re not familiar with the singer, she sold 10 million albums in 2011, won numerous awards, including four Latin Grammys, seven Brazilian MTV Video Music Awards, nine Multishow de Música Brasileira awards, 5 APCAs, and six Prêmio TIM de Música.

Rolling Stone Brasil considered Monte, the second greatest singer, behind only Elis Regina.

Since COVID-19 had unexpectedly stopped Monte from touring, so 2022 couldn’t come fast enough for the singer. She said,
“I’m super-happy to come back to the road. I’ve never spent so much time without singing live. I’m very glad to have the opportunity to go to the United States and sing in many cities where I’ve never performed. It’s nice for me after 35 years to have this chance.”

Whitmore Sisters

Sibling duo The Whitmore Sisters will be stopping by the Hook & Ladder in Minneapolis on March 8th, in support of their new album Ghost Stories (Red House Records). The sisters is opening for The Mastersons. Tickets are available on thehookmpls.com for $15-$20.
