with DJ Jake Rudh
at First Avenue
first-avenue.com
The last time Peter Hook was in town in November 2009, it was unforgettable. A massive fan proposed marriage on stage, “The rap portion was handled by a fan (singing the part of England footballer John Barnes). After the song, the fan proposed marriage to his girlfriend, who came on stage to accept the ring.”
You can bet that the married couple will definitely be at this upcoming Peter Hook & The Light show.
The show promises playing Joy Division’s debut album Unknown Pleasures and their last album Closer … plus an opening set of New Order material.
If you love Joy Division, this is an absolute a must-see show.

at First Avenue
first-avenue.com
Minneapolis singer/songwriter Chastity Brown is headlining First Avenue on August 20 to support her new album Sing To The Walls (Red House Records).
The singer talked about the long journey to finish the new record:
And now it’s yours. Thank you for supporting me, for making my music part of your life, and sharing my music with others. I hope you dance your ass off to these songs in your living room or let it score the moments in your life that could use a soundtrack.
My deep and heartfelt thanks to my co-producers on this record, Brady Blade and Greg Schutte, and all the incredible musicians and collaborators who helped bring this to life. Thanks to my team that always has my back and believes in me as an artist and individual ♥
This is just the beginning.
