Brooklyn-based ensemble Sammy Rae & The Friends is on a fall headline tour. Their latest single, “IF It All Goes South” is a romantic song about two lonely young-at-hearts through a series of near encounters.
Sammy Rae explains, “The quirky, omnipresent narrator (played by me!), follows them along and encourages their bumping into each other, until they finally collide at a bowling alley. It’s a timeless and whimsical love story starring two of the most beautiful retirees in the state of Florida. Morale of this story: It takes courage, patience and luck to find love, but it can happen to anyone. Anywhere.”

Florida’s Flipturn (stylized as flipturn) released their long-awaited debut album Shadowglow via Dualtone Records. The band will be on tour to promote the record, stopping by the 7th Street Entry in Minneapolis on October 28th.
On the band’s debut, lead guitarist Tristan Duncan said, “Shadowglow captures that moment of time between the yearning of youth and the sobering weight of adulthood.”
