Swans is headlining the Fine Line Music Café in Minneapolis on September 20, 2023.

The band is touring in support of their sixteenth studio album, The Beggar (Mute / Young God Records). The record was recorded and mixed at Candy Bomber Studio, Berlin, engineered by Ingo Krauss and mastered by Doug Henderson at Micro-Moose, Berlin. The album was written and produced by Michael Gira and features contributions from recent and former Swans, members of Angels of Light, as well as Guest Swan Ben Frost.

Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors are currently on tour in support of their new album Strangers No More. The band will headline First Avenue on September 21, 2023.

We saw Drew in 24 July 2015, and wrote, “Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors is a Nashville band, whose members usually include Holcomb’s wife, Ellie, though she was understandably absent as the couple just had their newborn son, Huck. New album, Medicine (Magnolia Records) came out at the beginning of the year, and the album continues to gain momentum with the band’s constant touring.”

R&B/soul singer Durand Jones is headlining the Amsterdam Bar & Hall in St Paul on September 21, 2023.

Jones’ debut solo album Wait Til I Get Over is out now on Dead Oceans.

We caught Durand in 14 Sep 2021 and said, “I feel as if Durand Jones & The Indications, who formed in 2012, are part of a new soul wave, popularized by Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings (who also served as session band for Amy Whinehouse), Charles Bradley, and so many others that helped shaped the genre. ”
