American country music singer Nate Smith is headlining First Avenue on November 21, 2024. His song “Wildfire” went viral on TikTok with over 3 million views. A few months later, after the song went viral, Smith signed a record deal with Sony Music Nashville and dropped his major label debut, “Raised Up”, which he co-wrote with hit songwriter Jonathan Smith. He soon followed it with “I Don’t Wanna Go to Heaven” and ended up on 2022 Artists to Watch lists by Country Now, Country Lifestyle Network and PopWrapped.

His latest album California Gold is out now. The record features the single “Can You Die from a Broken Heart” with Avril Lavigne.

Joining Nate Smith for his 2024 “Through The Smoke” Tour will be John Morgan.

Better Lovers

America’s favorite metalcore supergroup Better Lovers (featuring members of The Dillinger Escape Plan, Every Time I Die, and Fit for an Autopsy) are back in Minneapolis in support of their new album Highly Irresponsible.

The band is comprised of singer Greg Puciato (ex-Dillinger Escape Plan), guitarist Will Putney (Fit for an Autopsy), and three ex-members of Every Time I Die: guitarist Jordan Buckley, drummer Clayton “Goose” Holyoak, and bassist Stephen Micciche.

When we saw the group in May 2024, they were the hottest band in town. The Fine Line sold out and we wrote, “The band basically played their entire debut EP, but also brand new songs, not yet released. They had a lot of energy, and the audience helps feed them the energy with plenty of crowd surfing, moshing/slam dancing. It was so intense, it would often spill over, and you can feel the moshing through the rumbling on the dancefloor.”
