Shawscope Volume 4 (Dec 9, 2025)

In a move that should surprised no one, Arrow Video announced Shawscope Volume 4… set for release this December 9, 2025 (just in time for Christmas).

This set might not really appeal to diehard kung fu movie fans, as quickly looking over the movie list, it compiles all the weird Shaw Brothers horror movies. Example, the highlight is the Hex series of horror films, which includes my favorite Bewitched! If you’ve never seen these horror films, it has some of the most disgusting scenes… like with alligators and human baby fetuses. It’s just very gross.

I also saw Hex, Oily Maniac, Super Inframan (the Ultraman knock-off), Black Magic … all of which were previously available from 88 Films, and, all of which, I already own. Since I’ve already seen, or own, most of these titles, I have the luxury of waiting it out for a discount (like what I did for Volume 3). I’m in no hurry to get Volume 4… but, man, wouldn’t it look so nice sitting there with my other three volumes?
