12 Rods (Ryan Olcott) will be doing a solo show at the 7th Street Entry on January 7, 2026.

12 Rods at First Ave (July 14, 2023)
We saw 12 Rods in July 2023 and said, “Olcott seemed really pleased how their new record If We Stayed Alive turned out, despite all the odds working against them. Some songs, such as “Private Spies” were written over 20 years ago, but finally put into recording. The first half of their setlist were songs from If We Stayed Alive Set, showing us that all these songs can be played live, and meant to be enjoyed live. The second part of their set were all older songs, all their “hits”, playing songs fans haven’t heard live in 20 years.”
Droid Bishop and North Innsbruck to open.
North Innsbruck writes:
🚨 On January 7, 2026 we’ll be joining Minneapolis’ own acclaimed Indy/Art Rock based @_12rods.official_ (Ryan OIlcott solo) and Synthwave legend @droidbishop for a very rare performance at Twin Cities sonic temple, the famous @7thstentry! 🚨

Tickets officially go on sale 11/13/26 at 11AM CT at http://www.first-avenue.com

12rods: Indie experimental band celebrated for pioneering off kilter art rock, earning early acclaim with Gay?, which received a rare perfect score on Pitchfork, collaborating with Todd Rundgren on Separation Anxieties, shaping Midwest indie, and returning with If We Stayed Alive.

Droid Bishop: A leading synthwave producer known for cinematic retro futuristic soundscapes, renowned albums like Lost in Symmetry and Rebirth of the Machine, global festival performances, and standout work on film, game, and commercial soundtracks that helped define modern electronic nostalgia.

North Innsbruck: Minneapolis electronic project crafting Darksynth with a Post Punk edge rooted in vivid nostalgia and bold atmospheres. With widely praised releases, dynamic live performances, and collaborations across the Twin Cities arts scene, the project continues expanding its sonic world through concept driven albums, visual storytelling, and immersive electronic sound design.

We’re very excited to see FINICK headline her first 7th Street Entry show on January 8, 2026.

FINICK at Girlhood Exhibit Opening (Sep 7, 2024)
We last saw FINICK in Sep 2024 and wrote, “FINICK as the only live music guest. Her set is different from show to show, but she usually does “Rain Falls” and her sea-song “Captain Tory” (from the latest two-track single). Her forthcoming single, “Selfish” is electric, but without a full band, she’s doing it acoustic style. The single is coming out October 4, 2024. And as with all of her shows, she always ends with “Third Time’s the Charm” (watch the video), however due to an audience’s request, she played “Meant to Be”.”
NATL PARK SRVC and Waking Hours to open.
