The Beach Boys at Ponte Vedra Concert Hall (Jan 26, 2026)

The Beach Boys
at Ponte Vedra Concert Hall

The Boys are back… playing at a Beach Town, of course.
It’s weird, but for a time, there were two The Beach Boys band – one led by Brian Wilson (who died in June 2025) and the other by Brian’s cousin, Mike Love. For a while, I think legally, Love couldn’t bill himself as “The Beach Boys” without Brian Wilson. Anyway, it looks like there’s no confusion now, it’s The Beach Boys (Mike Love).

Beach Boys at PACER Annual Benefit (May 11, 2019)
We saw The Beach Boys in May 2019 and wrote, “The current incarnation of the legendary group is a tight nine-piece band, fronted by original vocalist Mike Love and Bruce Johnston (keys/bass/vocals) who joined in 1965. Love’s son Christian is on rhythm guitar and sings lead on a few songs, and Apple Valley, MN native Brian Eichenberger has re-joined on guitar and high vocals, replacing an ailing Jeff Foskett. With a stage decorated appropriately with several palm trees, a video screen behind them, and supporting screens on each side, the band entertained the convention center auditorium crowd with a jukebox-like hit parade of twenty-two songs spanning six decades, in just over sixty-five minutes.”

Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo
at Florida Theatre

Multi-platinum, GRAMMY® Award winning duo Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo are back in Jacksonville (they were previously in town in May 2025). The couple will be headlining the Florida Theatre, in Jacksonville, on January 27, 2026.

Pat Benatar/Neil Giraldo at Target Center (Nov 26, 2025)
We saw Pat Benatar/Neil Giraldo Nov 2025 and said, “At 72, Benatar’s voice still packs power, but the delivery is more reserved than in the glory years, though Geraldo’s loud guitar work made up for any volume loss starting with the opening, “All Fired Up.” Benatar can boast having 15 hit singles on the Billboard Top 40 charts, and four Grammy Awards, and the pair was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2022 and volume increased as the set progressed, until just the duo performed a more minimal version of “Shadows of the Night.””

  • Jan 27 Florida Theatre Jacksonville, FL
  • Jan 29 Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa – Hard Rock Tampa, FL
