UNLUST (2026)
UNLUST
UNLUST is a music project from cinematographer Joshua Zucker-Pluda featuring filmmaker/musician Jae Matthews. They have a debut self-titled Cassette EP that is out now. The EP was originally made available to friends and family. As of this writing, currently the limited edition is sold out.
According to their bio, the duo worked with Nick Zinner (Yeah Yeah Yeahs), Aaron Harris (Isis), and Ben Greenberg (Uniform).
Incidentally, Jae Matthews is also in a popular band called Boy Harsher, who we saw in July 2022 and described them as, “I didn’t realize what a big deal Boy Harsher was. They had a lot of fans (and of such diversity!). The group formed in Georgia in 2013, between singer Jae Matthews and music producer Augustus Muller. Since then, they’ve gained somewhat of a cult following, and their song “Pain” became an underground dance hit. They’re an electronic dance group, but sometime their music dips in dark wave, industrial, and, even synthpop … which you’ll find on their studio albums, including their latest The Runner (Original Soundtrack).”
