The monthly free Jacksonville Night Market returns to RD International on May 8 and 9. As usual, we do not know the lineup or schedule until a week before the event. So check back with their socials for the latest info.
The event has grown so much that we actually couldn’t find parking in March 2026: “These recent Asian Night Market events (March 13 and March 14) drew in a massive crowd at the RD International Market on Beach Blvd, in Jacksonville. It was so crowded that there were no spaces to park, forcing us to temporary park in an area not intended for parking. ”
It got so bad that we didn’t attend their April show, and may not return until we can get there early enough to secure a spot.
UK electronic composer and producer Aaron Hibell is touring in support of his debut album SYNCHRONICITY (available via Astralwerks / Capitol Records). The tour will stop in at Decca Live, in Jacksonville, on May 8th, 2026.

Unfortunately, as I put together the preview for the highly-anticipated return of 10,000 Maniacs back on tour… it would seem bassist Steve Gustafson had to get surgery for his back and that forced the band to postpone their shows in April and May. No rescheduled date is available at the moment.
10,000 Maniacs writes:
Steven [Gustafson] is scheduled for surgery next week to finally take care of some lingering back issues. It turns out even rock ’n’ roll has its limits, and his back has been asking for a little backup lately. The good news is his doctors expect a smooth recovery and will have him on track to be stage-ready by summer.
This does mean we have to cancel our April and May shows in Virginia and Florida. We’re already working on rescheduling those dates, and your venue will share updates as soon as they’re confirmed.
We’re truly heartbroken to miss these shows. We are grateful to have a clear path forward and very thankful for your continued support.
We’ll be back soon (literally) and stronger than ever.

If your band is coming to the Jacksonville/St Augustine area, please email details to vu@weheartmusic.com with a good lead time. Thank you.
