The one headlight band The Wallflowers will be returning to Minneapolis, to play Bringing Down the Horse in its entirety, along with Tom Petty & the HeartbreakersLong After Dark.
Speaking about the tour, Jakob Dylan said:
Coming back after such a long time, we wanted to do something special for the 30th anniversary of Bringing Down the Horse. We decided to play what seems to be our fans’ favorite Wallflowers album, and for us, we wanted to play one of our favorite Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers records, Long After Dark.
We saw the Wallflowers in July 2024 and wrote: “We were mostly there to see The Wallflowers, the band led by Jakob Dylan… who is probably more famous for being the son of Bob Dylan. But let’s be honest, The Wallflowers’ hit “One Headlight” stood out on its own. During his set, Dylan scolded a photographer for taking photos with a long lens, in the crowd, well after couple songs (the general rule is you can take photos in the photo pit for the first three songs), “Very distracting.””

Daisy the Great at 7th St Entry (Jun 15, 2026)
June 15, 2026 Monday
Daisy the Great
at 7th St Entry
first-avenue.com
Duo Daisy the Great (Kelley Dugan and Mina Walker) is back at the 7th Street Entry, in Minneapolis, on June 15, 2026.

We saw Daisy the Great in April 2023 and said, “Despite the snow, Daisy the Great drew in quite the crowd. Everyone on the dancefloor were already super dedicated fans, knowing all the songs and have kept up with the duo’s misadventures on their tour. The 7th Street Entry was only their four show on this 2023 tour … yet they seemed like seasoned professionals, even though they’re often goofing and joking around. You can tell, by the way the two looked at each other, that they communicate with each other by just their eyes or smile. The band have their routine for each song. For example, for “I’m Fine”, they wore shades to look cool. For the new song, “Tell Me Have You Been Dancing” (the song that they worked with Claud for the remix), they have a fun dance. For “Smile Pretty Girl”, Olive Klug came on stage to help them play the song.”

If your band is coming to the Minneapolis/St Paul area, please email details to vu@weheartmusic.com with a good lead time. Thank you.
