Athens’ Futurebirds is on tour in support of Far Out Country (available June 5 via Dualtone Records). The tour will stop by the Fine Line, in Minneapolis, on June 19, 2026.
The ticket limit is strict. Any attempt to exceed the posted ticket limit per customer or household, or to game the system in any way, will result in cancellation of orders without notice. There is a transfer delay for all tickets prior to the show.
We saw Futurebirds in June 2025 and wrote: “For Athens, GA band Futurebirds, the road never ends, with 2024’s Easy Company album (out via Dualtone Records) being the most recent reason to get back out there and play live again, like they obviously enjoy doing. The band has been around since 2008, releasing a first album in 2010 and their current lineup (aka v5.0) includes Brannen Miles, Carter King, Daniel Womack, Thomas Johnson, Kiffy Myers, Thomas Myers, and Spencer Thomas, who all give off the vibe that you’re at their backyard barbecue and they’re all just jamming amongst friends. Not much was said between songs, preferring to work as much in as possible, but the guitarists were jumping about the stage, they sing about things like “Olive Garden daydreams” and you would have thought the whole evening was over, when Graves and half of The Head and The Heart all jumped on stage to gleefully sing along on “Wild Heart”, the penultimate song of their fun set.”
Joelton Mayfield to open.

The Twin Cities Jazz Fest is celebrating their 28th Anniversary this June 19-20, 2026. The non-profit organization with the mission of bringing communities together to enjoy and appreciate the art form of jazz and inspire new generations of youth. The festival is located in and around Mears Park in the Lowertown neighborhood of downtown Saint Paul. There are two outdoor stages at Mears Park as well as over 18 St. Paul venues have jazz programmed throughout the weekend. The Jazz Fest is a walking event. Most of the stages and venues are within walking distance.
We caught the Twin Cities Jazz Festival last June 2025 and said, “On a balmy summer evening in downtown St. Paul the Twin Cities Jazz Festival kicked off its 27th year. Earlier in the week the Star and Tribune noted that the TCJF is bigger than the Taste of Minnesota and boasts more musical acts than the Minnesota Yacht Club. In fact, there were over eighty artists playing 20 venues over two days and a lot of it was free. So, it was my intention to catch five of these acts at Mears Park.”
