With just an acoustic guitar and some incredible vocals, Laura Marling pieces together her lyrics and gives us so much life. Her music inspires anyone and her lyrics make so much sense to the youth across the world. Not to mention she is only 17. She sounds a lot like Kate Nash, but has many other influences that include Ryan Adams and Babyshambles. She just signed a few months ago a side label part of EMI, and is also playing at a big venue in England called Way out West. Shes had a few dates with Kate Nash and played a few headliners throughout the U.K. over the last couple of months. I’ve been listening to her stuff non stop over the last year.. Lets hope she comes to the states soon, Minneapolis is the place!!
