K.Flay (aka Kristine Flaherty) will be headlining the Fine Line Music Cafe this Wednesday, November 9th. Although the name sounds like a rapper, you know K-Dee, K-OS, K-Solo, and Kay Slay, K. Flay is nothing like those guys. She first came to our attention in 2010 when she played CMJ – however most people probably noticed her when went on the Warped Tour in 2014, promoting her debut record Life as a Dog.
Her new EP Crush Me came out on Night Street Records (a subdivision of Interscope Records), and the upcoming tour is in promotion of the EP and various singles that came out (including “Blood in the Cut”).

Illinois” Chicago Farmer (aka Cody Diekhoff) will be in town at the Cedar Cultural Center next Wednesday, November 9th, touring in promotion of his 7th album Midwest Side Stories. As the album title suggests, these collection of songs are original little stories about “hope, depression, job loss, meth, skateboards, a divided nation, used cars, the late shift, farms, factories, the destruction of our environment…” typical of any folk singer / songwriter / storyteller.
If you”re in the Illinois area, Chicago Farmer & Still Shine will be playing a New Year show at the Crusens War Memorial in Peoria.
