It appears that every Friday and Saturday night, in downtown Minneapolis, between Fifth Street and Sixth Street, the streets are blocked off for the Warehouse District Live events. The downtown Minneapolis experience started in June 7th and continues through October 31st. I’m going to hazard a guess that Halloween will be a great time to people watch at Warehouse District Live.

For the night of Friday, July 26th, these were games and activities set up through one end of the street. On the other end were porta potties, tables & chairs, and various food trucks. In the center was a stage that they were using for Karaoke. I am assuming this can be rotated out for DJ sets or bands/musicians.

People were having a great time and anyone can wander into the area and partake in any of the free activities. What a great idea to keep the downtown area alive and fun and an inviting place to visit.
