Cage the Elephant at U.S. Bank Theater (10 Jun 2016)

GRAMMY® Award winning rock band Cage The Elephant will be headlining the Target Center this Monday, August 12, 2024, as part of their promotional tour for their sixth album Neon Pill (RCA Records).

The last time we saw the band, they played the smaller venue (but still larger than most venues) US Bank Theater, inside the Target Center, with a capacity of about 2,500 to 7,000 (expandable). Now, Cage the Elephant is ready for the full Target Center stadium, capacity of 20,000! We’re so happy to see the band doing so well.

Young the Giant at Surly Brewing Festival Field (27 June 2023)

Young the Giant is one of the openers. We’ve seen them a few times, and can say that this band is known for their high energy live performance. The last time we saw them in June 2023, we said, “Young the Giant kept up with the dance mood, opening the evening with the stirring “American Bollywood” from their latest album with the same name. Formed in 2004 in Irvine, CA, the band is comprised of Sameer Gadhia on lead vocals, Jacob Tilley on guitar, Eric Cannata on guitar, Payam Doostzadeh on bass and Francois Comtois on drums. They are a well-honed group and they put on a dazzling show with their songs, light show and Gadhia’s Technicolor dream coat.”

English singer Bakar is known for his experimental indie rock style. His new album Halo came out last year.

Vlad Holiday will be first on the bill. The American singer, originally from Romania, started his solo project in 20217 through Nylon Magazine. His debut “Quit Playing Cool” became a hit through Spotify and iTunes.
