One of my long-time readers, Ilke, reminded me that December 9th, is the 26th Anniversary of my George Perez Website.
The website first appeared online on December 9, 1998, using a Fresno State University webhost server.Over the years, the website was hosted at various servers, and for a long time (13 years), it lived on Google Sites… that is until they closed the free service in 2022.I thought my salvation came when I purchased the unlimited hosting from iBrave, but unfortunately, that was a scam, and the webhost has closed down in December 2024.

For the time being, I have reverted to version 5 and the website thegeorgeperez.com will be forwarded to Typepad. I have looked at other webhosts, but they are just too costly, especially because I’m not making any money off the website.

Why I keep the website running is to bring fans together and over the years, I have met some great people, including George Perez, who was a big fan.

If George was still alive, he would say this (again):

As usual, thanks for the dedication you’ve been putting in on the Pérez website. It has been very flattering, and I know that my latest activities have been keeping you very busy.
