Kiss Me – A 90s New Year’s Eve
with You Oughta Know
at 7th St Entry

first-avenue.com

It’s the annual year-end’s Kiss Me – A ’90s New Year’s Eve show from cover lover band You Oughta Know (named after the Alanis Morissette song).

We saw the group in May 2017 and wrote, “As you can see from their setlist, they only cover 90s songs, with the exception of Queen’s ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’, but that’s forgivable because they probably discover the song from 1992’s Wayne’s World (based on Silberschmidt as Garth, of course).
A cover lover band is good for these kind of events, because most of the audience will know and likely sing along to some of their favorite 90s tunes. After You Oughta Know finished their set, there were DJ Gabe and 7Days A Capella group, ending with a highly entertaining swing dance group Uptown Swing and Hudson, Master Magician (from America’s Got Talent).”

02 Jan 2025 Thursday
Landon Conrath
with Kiernan and Alex Delzer
at 7th St Entry

first-avenue.com

Every week in January, local musician Landon Conrath will be playing the 7th Street Entry.

We caught Conrath in Dec 2022, and wrote, “Landon Conrath is one of those conflicted musicians when it comes to finding his way in the music industry. He started off as a drummer in a high school band Harbor & Home (who we saw in July 2019). But when a bike accident led to a broken wrist, he searched for other ways to keep playing music. That’s when he started writing and producing his own music, posting his creations on social media during the middle of the pandemic. And by the time he released “Acetown” he had garnered four million listens on Spotify.”

Support acts will be announced closer to the dates.

Update:

For the January 2, Kiernan and Alex Delzer to open.
For January 9, Keep for Cheap and Andrew Garden to open.
For January 16, Charli Adams and Pageant Dress to open.

Residency:

  • 02 Jan 2025 Landon Conrath at 7th St Entry
  • 09 Jan 2025 Landon Conrath at 7th St Entry
  • 16 Jan 2025 Landon Conrath at 7th St Entry
